Scalable Parametric Static Analysis

چکیده
Parametric static analysis allows choosing a parameter value tobalance the precision and cost of the instantiated analysis. Wepropose an efficient approach to either find a cheapest parame-ter value to prove a given query or show that no such parame-ter value exists. Our approach is based on refinement, as in CE-GAR (counterexample-guided abstraction refinement), but appliesa novel meta-analysis to abstract counterexample traces to effi-ciently find parameter values that are incapable of proving thequery. We formalize our approach in a generic framework andapply it to two parametric analyses: a thread-escape analysis anda type-state analysis. The thread-escape analysis is implementedand applied to eight Java benchmarks comprising 2.5 MLOC. Ourexperiments show that our approach is effective in practice: forour four largest benchmarks, searching 2 parameter values foreach of 10K queries on average per benchmark, it finds a cheapestone for proving 46% queries and shows that none exists for 37%queries, in one minute per query on average.

Parametric Study of the Empty and Foam-Filled End-Capped Conical Tubes under quasi Static and Dynamic impact Loads
This paper investigates the parametric study of the empty and foam-filled end-capped tubes under quasi static and dynamic loadings. The numerical crash analysis of the empty and foam-filled tubes was performed using the explicit finite element code ABAQUS- explicit. Satisfactory agreements were generally achieved between the numerical and experimental results. In order to determine the crash be...

The present study examined the effect of the geometric parameters of the Rockfill dams on the 2D static analysis of slope stability. In this regard, several numerical models analyzed for eight heights, three slopes of upstream and downstream, three vertical and skewed core thicknesses and four different impounding time stages namely, "End of Construction", "Full Reservoir", "Half Full Reservoir...
متن کاملEvaluating the Validity of Quasi-Static Analysis for Prediction of Vessel Mooring Line Forces
Quasi-Static analysis of moored vessels is vastly used for engineering designs, as a substitute to the numerical simulation of dynamic mooring analysis. Yet, the level of validity of the results of quasi-static analysis is a matter of discussion. In the present study, the validation of the assumptions behind the quasi-static analysis of mooring vessels is examined with application of a dynamic ...

The objective of this review to be submitted in two independent parts, for steel frames and for RC frames, is to compare their structural performance with respect to the proposed N2-method, and so also of the consequent convenience of using pushover methodology for the seismic analysis of these structures. A preliminary investigation is presented on a pushover analysis used for the seismic perf...
